The picturesque Mill was built in the 19th century, and has been lovingly renovated into 2 separate accommodation rooms with incredible views of the dams, mountains and forests at Valley of the Rainbow Estate. The Mill opens to a social bar and lounge area fitted with a bar fridge, stocked wine cooler and DSTV. The fireplace on the lower floor offers guest a cozy spot to warm up in winter. On the mezzanine level, the luxury Mill is equipped with a plush double bed and bathroom.
This is possibly one of the most unique units available locally! Step back in time and spoil yourself with a piece of history!! Enjoy the opulence of the beautifully of the tastefully renovated Witpoort Mill that is over 120 years old.
The lower level of the Mill has a spacious lounge, bar area, mini bar-fridge, wine cooler, a fully stocked coffee station as well as a romantic indoor fireplace (firewood & firelighters are supplied). There is a TV with DSTv bouquet. The bathroom downstairs spoils you with a double walk-in shower and toilet. Meander upstairs and find your boudoir! Relax in luxurious Queen-Size bed with a seating area. Soak in the magnificent views of the dams and exquisite sunsets that are unmatched anywhere! Surprise your partner with a romantic soak in the giant luxury bathtub in the bathing area in the upstairs alcove. This unit will evoke every one of your senses! This is a NON-SELF CATERING unit and meals need to be pre-ordered from The Bird Nest Restaurant at The Manor House. There is a small gas braai available, however all crockery/cutlery will need to be pre-arranged as this is a non-self catering unit. Camper chairs allow you to soak in the tranquility of our valley and enjoy the spoils that nature provides.
