Lake Heron Farm is situated in the Elandskloof Valley, just 19 km from the village of Dullstroom. It is ideally suited for the keen fisherman or a quiet, romantic weekend away and family getaways.

San–Solina

San – Solina Cabin is a beautifully restored, luxury 2 sleeper stone cabin. It has one bedroom with an extra length kingsize bed and electric blanket. Two singles can be requested. Romantic fly – net canopy over the bed, fireplace and doors opening out onto the surround patio. This room receives the morning and day sun.

There is one bathroom with a shower, vanity basin, toilet and a Victorian slipper bath. The bathroom has a ceiling heater unit and a heated towel rail for additional comfort (soaps and towels are provided). The open plan kitchen /lounge and eating area is comfortable and cosy, with fully equipped kitchen, with coffee machine.

There is a large leather couch, small round dining table, fireplace and Dstv. All the doors open out onto the large surround patio, with table, chairs & umbrella , a weber & barrel braai, for lazy outdoor afternoons and evenings. The cottage overlooks Lake Heron dam. Parking is alongside a under a covered carport.

Stary-Krowa

This larger stone cottage is a six sleeper luxury self – catering cottage. It has two bedrooms (main with a jet master fireplace & doors opening out onto a private garden area, that will be pet friendly).

Each bedroom has a King-size bed, that can be converted to two single beds, on request. All beds have heated blankets, either in double or single, depending on bed configuration. An additional bunk bed in the passage alcove, caters only for two children under 12 yrs old. The cottage has one bathroom with a large bath, shower, pedestal basin & toilet. Soaps & towels provided.

Open plan kitchen /lounge /eating area. The country kitchen is fully equipped, with coffee machine, ice maker & dish washer, micro wave, under counter oven & gas hob. The breakfast counter seats 6 with couches & chairs in the lounge for watching full Dstv, all in front of an open fire. Doors open out onto a morning patio with seating & umbrella, and to the boma area. The huge entertainment boma is covered ( open sided all round with the best view of farm & waters ), and features a built in braai / fireplace & outside seating for gatherings. An additional Weber braai is also available on request.

Maly Fisher

This cozy 2 sleeper cottage has an open plan kitchen /lounge and eating area, with fully equipped country kitchen.

The Lounge area has a 2 seater couch, and a breakfast nook, Queen Ann fireplace and Dstv. All the doors open out onto the large covered wooden deck that features a built in braai.
Parking is under a covered carport.

The bedroom opens out onto the wooden deck, and your Kingsize bed has an electric blanket for warmth on cold Dullstroom nights.
