Watersmeet Cottage is a magnificently restored stone cottage on the Walkersons Estate. The cottage has 2 bedrooms – the main bedroom is ensuite with a full bathroom, the second bedroom has 2 single beds, and there is a second full bathroom. Extremely well equipped kitchen, lounge with fireplace and dining area, large open veranda with built built in braai, and drop down shades for colder or wet weather.

The entrance is private and away from the main house. Limited hotel bouquet DSTV, with sport, movies, news channels. Ideal for guests who want privacy; can be used with the Cottage or for guests who want to experience Walkersons without staying at the Hotel. All wood provided, service on request only, in advance please, at R150/service for Feathers and R200/service for the Cottage.

Both cottages are 4 star graded by the South African Grading Council.
The Estate offers breathtaking views, 12 wellstocked dams, 3kms of river stocked with trout, mountain biking, walking trails, 1km airstrip, full day spa facilities, and restaurant and bar at the 5 star hotel. Please note that a decision was taken to close the river for spawning season. This will allow our river trout to spawn undisturbed.
