Once a bustling country dairy, the original building was converted to a pub in 1994, creating an authentic country pub atmosphere. The Duck & Trout has been in the hands of the present owners, Wayne and Angela, for the last 15 years.

The Dullstroom Inn's history can be traced back to 1912 and was Mpumalanga's best kept secret for decades until the first ever Sunday Times "Finders Keepers" prize of a million rand was hidden in the well known English pub. It remains a pub in a million, with hearty meals and draught beer being served in front of a crackling log fire that has been burning for close on 33 years.

The Mayfly Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge on the main road in the village provides excellent cuisine and a superb range of drinks in a well designed area with convivial atmosphere.
