Located 14km outside of Dullstroom on the scenic Kruisfontein Road, The Stix is directly across the road from the Highland Gate Golf & Trout Estate. Â There are six accommodation options to choose from. 5 cottages that sleeps 4 people, and “The Farmhouse” can sleep 12.
All options are self catering with outside braai areas taking in the great views. All cottages also have indoor fire places. The Stix is perfect for golf trips with its close proximity to the Ernie Els designed course at Highland Gate.
The CottagesÂ
There are various cottage, all with 2 bedrooms, with single beds that can be converted into king size beds (please advise bed configuration in advance). There is a shared bathroom with shower in each cottage. There is a fully equipped open plan kitchen and lounge with indoor fireplace. There is a covered veranda with built in braai. These cottages are ideal for overflows from the big farmhouse, or for couples or small groups coming to play golf.
The Stix House
The large, comfortable wooden house, boasts a magnificent fireplace in the lovely open lounge, it has a bar, large screen DSTV with hotel package and a very well equipped kitchen. The kitchen has all the modcons you would expect to cook for a large party.
The front bedrooms have lovely views overlooking the valley.
