25 February 2008 Fishing this weekend was terrible, all weekend. The very hot and bright conditions acounted for these poos conditions all weekend. On Sunday evening a storm came through and fishing improved this (Monday) morning. This was followed by another storm later in the morning. These two storms helped to improve fishing conditions for the week. The flies that were most successful are the olive patterns, in smaller sizes (sizes 14 to 16). ![]() Duncan Verster (11) and his 3,2 kg Rainbow hen, taken in the Bird of Prey dam a month or two ago. Don’t forget to take a look at our Mavungana Flies for Africa Club, which is growing daily. |
